RGV’s ‘Rann’ is now ‘India 24X7’

Ram Gopal Varma’s latest media based film ‘Rann’ starring Amitabh Bachchan in the main lead is rechristened as ‘India 24X7’.

Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of Harshavardhan Malik, India’s most respected personality and owner of ‘India 24X7’ first ever private news channel in the country. The script is plotted on the intense competition and changes evolving in media. The intension is to bring forth the truth behind-the-scenes that are transforming media into a money-making and power-broking enterprise.

Following suggestions from many, that ‘Rann’ literally means war, the venture is renamed as ‘India 24X7’ says the filmmaker. Involving news channels, political parities and industrial czars the film offers high drama and excitement for its audience.

Other prominent artists include Manisha Koirala, Rajat Kapoor, Gul Panag, Raima Sen, Rajpal Yadav, Riteish Deshmukh, Presh Rawal, and Neethu Chandra.
